Aurichalcite/agardite-(Y) locality

This is a view of the most prolific (2019) locality for agardite-(Y). Some very good specimens of aurichalcite were found here as well. The aurichalcite crystals used for crystal structure refinement were also found here.

This group of blue azurite crystals is one of the great find by the Kapellas family from the fall of 2017 (see Simon and Kapellas (2018) Aus Lavrion, Griechenland: Prächtige neue Azurite und klassische Fluorite, Lapis 5/2018, 12-23, in German).

Beige balls of sarmientite with green hilarionite on gossan matrix from a localtity called "Ivan's hilarionite place" at the 3rd level of the Christiana area. ID has been confirmed by PXRD.

Dark blue azurite crystals in part replaced by malachite at the left side and at the right side a complete psedomorph of malachite after cuprite and major replacement of azurite by malachite. Both groups surrounded by aurichalcite. From the 3rd level of the Hilarion area.
