A small, platy monazite crystal with some euxenite in feldspar, in situ. This photo is taken in the small pit, where the pegmatite is a little coarser than in the beryl/thortveitite zone.

A coarse beryl crystal associated with monazite, ilmenorutile and thortveitite. The matrix has a very fine grained texture, typical of the thortveitite-rich part of the pegmatite.

View of the small pegmatite quarry called "Berylbruddet", situated high on a hilltop. It consists of a small, shallow and dry pit, and some surface workings just outside the pit. The waste dumps are seen alongside the workings.
