These strelkinite crystals were EDS confirmed to have sodium, vanadium, and uranium. They are fairly large for the species and often exhibit a skeletal habit.

EWJ-PETTellurite

North Star Mine, Mammoth Peak, Mammoth, Tintic District, East Tintic Mts, Juab Co., Utah, USA

Field of View: 1.2 mm

There were several tellurite crystal in one rock recovered at the dump. This was the most interesting as it had a phantom tellurite inside the tellurite crystal. It is associated with paratellurite, and several unknown sulfides , many as excellent crystals. Collected and photographed by Chuck Adan.
