Several Fluorite partial penetration twins. The Galena xls appear etched.

Fluorite

Cluster of transparent to translucent, pale yellow Fluorite cubes. Several of the cubes penetrate each other – but no complete penetration twins.
Many of the xls have a cream pattern within the xls themselves (probably internal fracturing).

Dark purple, almost black, cubic Fluorite xls. The largest xl on the LHS is cleaved on the back.
Some micro cream Calcite xls and micro dull brassy Marcasite xls are scattered on the underside.

Fluorite

Three dominant translucent purple Fluorite cubes on a matrix of Galena, Sphalerite and Quartz. The Galena xls are dull grey and are modified twins. The Sphalerite xls, when backlit, are a deep orange-red-brown colour.
Located slightly above the largest Fluorite is a micro black ball of an unknown mineral, some similar balls are on the underside.

Largest Crystal Size: 14 mm

Transparent to translucent, pale blue Fluorite cubes with scattered dull grey sugary Galena cubes on a vein of massive Quartz. The Galena xls are somewhat dull, with some minor imperfections and are coated in part by micro transparent Fluorite cubes, creating the “sugary” look. Several of the Fluorite cubes have feint purple edges. The rear of the specimen is also covered with Fluorite and Galena cubes.

A previous collector no. affixed – India ink on white paint – 91.37.

Quartz

Double terminated tabular transparent Quartz xl cluster comprising one central xl with several side xls, also double terminated. Numerous nicks around the xl edges.
The colouration is probably due to iron oxide.
Unfortunately no more exact location known.
Two previous collector numbers, 532 – typed on paper; and 316 – ink on white paint.
