Santa Elena Mine, Quebrada Alcaparrosa, Calingasta, Calingasta Department, San Juan Province, Argentina

Santa Elena mine is a classic locality for these minerals, described by Samuel Gordon. The only samples taken from this closed mine and brought to the public were taken by Jorge Dascal (Patagonia Minerals). According to Alfredo Petrov's article in Mineral News magazine, the minerals are completely stable.
