Old Witchcliffe gold mines, Witchcliffe, Augusta-Margaret River Shire, Western Australia, Australia

Remains of one of two in the area of the Old Witchcliffe Gold Shafts from the early 19th Century.

This area is still used as a fossicking area by locals and there is a push at the moment by a local prospector to preserve this location for future history.

Gold fines as well as gold nuggets has been found in this area over the years by Prospectors and Fossickers, as well as Quartz Crystals from the old diggings as well as by digging down ameter to access the quartz ore body.
