A very nice "Alien Eye" fluorite. However seems rather "Owl Eye" to me.
11cm tall.

Dimensions: 22 mm x 22 mm x 21 mm

An absolutely clear ice like fluorite is penetrated by siderite coated quartz. Ex Pearl Freeman collection.
She acquired this piece in 1987 from Don Edwards who used to travel USSR before Glasnost. That indicates, mined between 1982 to 1987.

Came with H. Maucher's old label, that indicates this specimen was collected in 1936 to 1944.

An aesthetic specimen from recent working of Panasqueira Mines. Bright and vividly phantomed violet fluorites are scattered on chlorite coated quartz. With minor pyrite crystals.
Found in May/2015.
