Almandine - deep red crystal in mica schist. Was acquired with the locality of "Pyrenees, France" but I can not pin down a region. Pyrénées-Orientales, Occitanie is a garnet in pegmatite region. Perhaps Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur which is garnet in schist region but not in the Pyrenees. For now the locality is France.
