Self collected 1986 near an old anorthosite quarry at Riviere des Rapides in Sept-Iles, Quebec. Very common mineral in the Sept-Iles intrusive suite area. Very magnetic.

Teck-Hughes Mine, Kirkland Lake Township, Timiskaming District, Ontario, Canada

Me standing at the remains of the the Teck-Hughes mine (south of Government Rd) head frame located behind my motel in 1991. Has since been rehabilitated. Lots of interesting mineral samples around the filled in shaft.
