Cliffs on Knobly Mountain
Knobly Mountain, Mineral County, West Virginia, USA
Exposures of nearly flat lying limestone on the Western face of Knobly Mountain near Ridgely, WV. Cliffs extend to about 300 feet in height with the base ending at the Potomac River beyond the trees. Collecting here requires stamina but is rewarded with stellar valley views.
