Kamituga-Mobale mine, Mwenga, South Kivu, DR Congo
6.1 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm. Mineral specimens of any species are rare from this obscure underground gold mine. A fine pseudomorph is even rarer. Ferberite has replaced (pseudomorphed) a sharp, hefty, doubly terminated tetragonal scheelite crystal. This is older material, seldom seen today (early to mid 1900s?).
