The specimen was studied by Kolitsch et al. (2019): The inhomogeneously pale pinkish core area consists of rhodonite, rhodochrosite, calcite, quartz, spessartine and various accessory minerals such as (linnaeite-)siegenite. The oxidised blackish rim consists of Mn oxides. At bottom right there is coarse quartz.
