Fluorite
Piz Blas, Val Nalps, Tujetsch, Surselva Region, Grisons, Switzerland
Huge, superior fluorite octahedron with a reddish core and bright green outside, clear sharp edges up to 9 cm and nice reflecting faces.
A unique, classic find by L. Monn in 1958-1959 in a horizontal cleft near the top of Piz Blas 3019 m, at the eastern Val Nalps side.
