Location is approximate, estimate based on other nearby localities.

Latitude & Longitude (WGS84): 59° North , 12° East (est.)
Margin of Error:~8km
Köppen climate type:Dfc : Subarctic climate

Discovered 1870, basically no mining until World War I. From the beginning it was not known that the ore contained good levels of Au & Ag. The Au-Ag-Te minerals were first discovered by Scherbina (1941) and occur as inclusions in pure Cu-sulfides.
The ores occur as veins striking N-S (one Eastern, one Western part) with smaller and bigger pits. Located N of Glava Slate Quarry and SW of Glava Church; equivalent to localities no 2 & 3 in the map of Jongejan & Westerweld (1949).

NB: People living in the area has always used the name Yttre Rud for this locality- but since Glava is used in the literature- better to keep it like this.
