Three small prospects in brecciated basalt. The locality was discovered around 1885, and prospecting started in 1886 by A. C. Darre. The prospects were probably worked from 1886 until 1890.
Interesting geological site, the quartz-breccia is a part of the fault in the VealΓΈs caldera, the border between basalt (footwall) faulte and syenites (hanging wall).
