A former underground Au-Ag mine.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a lode / tabular orebody, hosted in gneiss and schist of the Idaho Springs formation. Tertiary flows strike NW and dip 30º-40º NE, and overlie Precambrian granite and gneiss; NW to NNW-trending normal faulting.
