A former W occurrence/prospect located in the SW¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 24, T23N, R12W, G&SRM, on Wright Creek, 11 miles by road SW of highway 66 at a point between Hackberry and Peach Springs, on land of mixed ownership. Owned by Harry Clark, Arizona (1942). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is vein deposits hosted in Eoarchean schist, with enrichment at intersection with fractures that strike N20ºW, and dip 83ºSW. The ore body strikes N77E and dips 90 at a width of 0.91 meter and a length of 21.34 meters. Controls for ore emplacement included fractures along foliation of schist. Mineralization occurs along the S contact of the southern pegmatite dike in a narrow altered zone of schist. Ore control was fractures along foliation of the schist. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic metamorphic rocks.
Local geologic structures include pegmatite dikes that strike N57ºE and dip 57ºW.
Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 7.01 meters, overall length of 24.38 meters and an overall width of 2.13 meters and comprised of a vertical shaft, 2 trenches and several shallow prospect pits.
Analytical data results: Assayed at 1% WO3.
