A beryl prospect in granite pegmatite that was to be mined for beryllium to add to aircraft frames in the 1930s and 1940s. Reportedly, beryl crystals commonly were as big as "baseball bats" (~1 meter). Sadly, this interesting and little known locality no longer exists. Few specimens were ever found, those currently known reside in the collection of Bill Barrett, a collector of local minerals.

Based on the above description, this mysterious locality is probably either the well-known Southford pegmatite https://www.mindat.org/loc-8867.html, which was quarried for large beryl crystals, or more likely the Woodbury quarry https://www.mindat.org/loc-213286.html that has a similar history as that described above. Bill Barrett lived near both of these localities.
