Small disused roadside quarry situated on the Sledge Track road west of Scottsdale.
Locality is commonly referred to as the West Scottsdale Quarry, as well as Briggs Quarry, Sledge Track Quarry and Springfield Qy. Some large Forsterite crystals were collected in the 1960’s-70’s along with smallish vughs ~30mm diameter, of Phillipsite, Natrolite, Gonnardite and some Calcite, but little good material remains.
