Low temperature hydrothermal vein-type antimony deposit, controlled by fault and breccia zones and related to the Mangling granite intrusive.

Located in northern Danfeng County.

Mineralization and geological characteristics of this deposit are essentially the same as those of the Gaolinggou Mine (Wang, 1984).


Note:
This locality was given by several dealers for the large kermesites that appeared on the mineral market in 2002. Others attributed the specimens to Datong (Jianshui Co., Yunnan) or even to the Wenshan Mine (Wenshan Co., Yunnan), a zinc mine where antimony is totally absent. Liu suggested that Caiwa (Danfeng Co., Shaanxi) was the likely location. However, no further information was available about this locality at that time. In 2006, the origin of the material originally found in 2002 was further researched, and it turned out to be from an unnamed mine in the Damingshan range near Dafeng, Shanglin Co., Guangxi Province (Ottens, 2007).
