Just west of State Road 659, 0.5 miles south of Route 7 and 0.5 miles west of Goose Creek.

Known for exceptional apophyllite-(KOH) crystals. Meier and Kearns (2011) determined much if not all of the northern Virginia are uniformly near end-member apophyllite-(KOH) and verified its occurrence at this locality. (Lance Kearns, personal communication, 2011).
