A mercury mine with cinnabar as the principal ore mineral. Started about 1933 and closed in 1942 when water was hit and the mine was flooded. Owned by Compañia Explotadora de Durango, S.A. (Mr. Claude D. Moll). Mine is 110 meters in inclined depth. Ore allegedly remains.
