Rynersonite

Description: A rynersonite -like mineral is reported from Tennvatn (Ellingsen et al. 1995; Kristiansen 2000). XRD gives a pattern close to rynersonite, but it is also possible that it is vigezzite. Husdal (2008) concludes that the data is based on a mislabeled sample collected at Herrebøkasa, Halden, Norway.

Description: Larsen et al. (1999) anlysed one sample of a black tourmaline and concluded it was a schorl, but the F content was not determined; therefore it may be a fluor-schorl (Kolitsch et al., 2011). Both schorl and fluor-schorl were subsequently confirmed Kolitsch et al. (2013) for another sample.
