Located 21 km south west of Mabel Downs homestead. North-west of the Sally Malay nickel mine. Explored by BHP 1973-1975.

Ni-Cu-Co sulphide mineralisation associated with mafic and ultramafic intrusions including the Norton intrusion. Graphite has also been found in the area. This is part of the Tickalara Metamorphics affected by broad east-west repeated open folds. Deep buried metamorphism has caused carbon to crystalise as graphite flakes, preserved by cooling rocks, then subjected to folding and faulting. 100 metre long lense of low grade disseminated mineralisation.
