An old lead mine on the east bank of the river Seaton, opposite to Roseland village. The mine worked a SE-trending lode that was opened up from a shaft, which is vertical to adit level (27 fms) and then follows the dip of the lode to a depth of 55 fms. The adit commences near the river and extends 175 fms ENE, cutting through the lode at 130 fms from its entrance and 15 fms SE of the shaft.
