One of the small lead workings in Madridejos. Santa Bárbara Mine (La Pichita Mine or La Perdiguera Mine) is an elongated open pit for Barite mining in a large barite-galena vein. It is located close to Casa La Pichita.

The name of 'La Perdiguera' is wrong for this mine, but it is also known by this name because of its neighbouring to La Perdiguera Hills (Cerros de la Perdiguera). Recently, in 2007, a concession called 'La Perdiguera' was given in the same place, what increased the confusion.
