Old small-scale copper mine which prospected stratiform disseminated copper mineralization (mainly tennantite) in Permian sandstones. This small locality produced the best clinoclase and tyrolite-tangdanite specimens in Slovakia. Locality is often misnamed as Horný Bartolomej mine/adit.
