Located 50 km south west of Halls Creek.
Emull is named after nearby Emull Bore.
No historic information could be found on this location. However, a local exploration company has helpfully detailed geology for Emull which it names the Red Billabong Project. It is hosted in the Halls Creek Mobile Zone. It is a semi massive to disseminated sulphide deposit showing zinc, copper, silver and gold mineralisation. It is confined to four main discontinuous lenses, the longest a strike length of 500 metres by a maximum width of 50 metres, and 100-150 metres deep. It is hosted by the Emull Gabbro and intercalated felsic volcanic rocks of the Koongie Park Formation.
Ferguson states sulphide mineralisation in ultramafic rocks, altered to serpentinite, and diopside-carbonate-chlorite rock. Mineralisation forms heavily disseminated zones, with patchy massive to sub-massive sulphide bands, with silver, gold, bismuth and cadmium values, 500 metre long by 150 metres wide. Individual bands contain massive galena and sphalerite up to 1 metre thick.
An older sources relating to copper states it is veinlets, aggregates and stains of malachite, and chrysocolla (assuming near surface) in limonite, hosted by silicified, serpentinized, cumulate textured peridotite and metagabbro.
The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
