Largest uranium deposit in Slovakia (currently under exploration) located on Kuriškova hill near Jahodná ski resort. Deposit contains also significant amounts of molybdenum. Stratiform uranium mineralization is hosted in Permian volcanosedimentary rocks. The deposit does not outcrop on the surface, mineralization is known only from drill cores.
