The Maslin Beach forms a wide sandy littoral of 2 km long. The active erosion of the sandstone cliffs (Eocene to Pliocene) feeds the beach with a lot of material and the wind/tide form some amazing placers with more than 80% garnet, limonite, etc. These concentrations are irregular and subject to storm modifications.
