An iron mine in magnetite ore located at the North end of Split Rock Pond. Reopened 1873-1875, then 1878-1880. 2 ore veins (eastern = > 14 feet wide; western = 8 feet wide). Workings featured a 100 foot deep shaft 91875) and a second 100 foot deep shaft (1878-1880).
