A former Fe mine in magnetite ore located 2.2 km (7,200 feet) E of vernon, about 2½ miles NE of Wawayanda Lake on Wawayanda Mountain. Started before 1854 and reopened 1873-1877, 1880-1881, 1887 and 1890- ?. 3 ore veins 4 to 20 feet wide.
