Former province of Sardinia (2005-2016).

The Province of Medio Campidano, which was created on July 12, 2001 and existed de facto between 2005 and 2016, incorporated 28 municipalities (Arbus, Barumini, Collinas, Furtei, Genuri, Gesturi, Gonnosfanadiga, Guspini, Las Plassas, Lunamatrona, Pabillonis, Pauli Arbarei, Samassi, San Gavino Monreale, Sanluri, Sardara, Segariu, Serramanna, Serrenti, Setzu, Siddi, Tuili, Turri, Ussaramanna, Villacidro, Villamar, Villanovaforru, and Villanovafranca) of the Sardinian geographical and historical subregion of Medio Campidano, formerly belonging to the Province of Cagliari. After dissolution of Medio Campidano Province, all of its municipalities joined the newest Province of South Sardinia.
