Black Rock group (Vickers group; Black Rock Vickers), Fisher Hills District, Fisher Hills, Graham Co., Arizona, USA

A former surface and underground Mn mine located on 2 unpatented claims in the N½NW¼ sec. 31, T11S, R27E, within 1 mile of the Graham-Cochise County line, on private land. Discovered in 1952. Text says that the Black Rock group is located in sec. 30 but the description locates it in sec. 31. Located first in WWIand re-located in 1938 by E.F. Vickers. Relocated again in 1952 by E. Sanchez and associates and renamed the Black Rock group.

Mineralization is ore in lenticular stringers.

Workings include a shallow pit and 3 shafts. A small amount of sorted ore was shipped during WWI. Results of sample analysis: 15.4% Mn.
