An underground Cu prospect located in sec. 20, T6S, R20E, 4.5 miles SSE of Aravaipa.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body in a fracture zone 100 feet NE of the Grand Reef Fault, hosted in diorite. It strikes N15W and dips vertically. An associated rock unit is the Copper Creek Granodiorite. Ore control was the fracture zone.
Area structures include the Grand Reef Fault and block faulting trending NNW. Regional trends: minor Pre-Cretaceous E- and NE-trending folds and major Post-Cretaceous NNW-trending faults.
Workings include a shaft sunk on the fracture zone. Water in the shaft within 50 feet of the top. Below the shaft, an adit is driven in N10W direction.
