The Iagaliko complex covers an area of about 450km2 between Tunugdliarfik (Tunullarfik) and Igaliko Fjords in the west and the inland ice in the east. It consist of 4large and some smaller intrusion centres.
Several syenite pegmatites are observed in the complex, the Narsaarsuk pegmatite (Narssârssuk pegmatite) being the largest and most famous.
