The Diaoyutai pyrite deposit is located in the northeast of the complex, with a sulfur reserve of 290 million tonnes and an average sulfur grade of 5.5 %. The deposit mainly consists of layered and lenticular disseminated pyrite mineralization. The host rock of the deposit is volcaniclastic rock of the Qingshan Group, including andesitic tuff and andesitic flow breccia. The trend of this ore deposit is generally consistent with the trend of the Qingshan Group strata, trending southeast with a dip of 20Β°. It has a length of approximately 1 km, a width of 800 m, and an average thickness of 100 m.
