Earliest written records about this orefield is from the year 1644- but due to low ore grades "real" mining started only after a processing plant was built in 1898 (with magnetic and wet methods). Closed in the 1970-ies.
Orebodies are: Långfingret-Mellan, Kronort, Diamanten, Nygruve, Östergruve, Treudden, Dalkarlsgruve, Storgruvan, Schaktortsblodstenen.
