In the vicinity, a Co mine (St. Maria Anna mine) was active between 1780 and 1843. A stratiform tin-bearing deposit is also known from the area (i.e. in Krobica and Gierczyn). Cassiterite mineralization + Fe-Co-Ni minerals occur among mica schists of the Kamienica Schist Range.

Note: erythrite is mentioned to occur in the Gierczyn-Przecznica area.
