Zircon-bearing nepheline-pegmatites (sic!) in gabbro and peridotites of the Finero ultra-mafic complex, Ivrea-Verbano zone.

Located in a steep area in Val di Capolo, northern flank of Gridone Massif, these miaskite pegmatites are grouped as follows:
- the lower pegmatite area no. 1 (also known as Felice pegmatite), including the uppermost zircon-bearing nepheline-free pegmatite no. 1a, the intermediate zircon-bearing nepheline-pegmatite no. 1b, and the lowermost zircon-free nepheline-pegmatite no. 1c;
- the upper large pegmatite no. 2 (also known as Sant'Anna pegmatite), located 200 m east of the former.

Zircon crystals from here may reach up to about 9 cm (!). They strongly fluoresce yellow to orange-yellow under short-wave ultraviolet light.
