An iron exploration conducted by Longyear Michigan Exploring Co. during 1921 near the Mansfield Mine, in Secs. 29 and 29, T43N-R32W. Sixteen holes were drilled into the Mansfield iron-bearing slate member of the Hemlock Volcanics formation.
