A fill & road metal quarry operated by the county government. Located on the South face of Mauldin Mountain, 3½ miles NW of Mt Ida. Rock is fractured Bigfork Chert. Workings are open cuts on the mountainside. Produced world class wavellite specimens in the 1970's.
