A former Au-Ag-Pb-Cu-Hg mine located in secs. 18, 19, & in the NE¼NW¼ sec. 30, T2N, R14E, MDM, about 1.3 miles NW of Tuttletown, along Norwegian Gulch, N of Jackass Hill. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Holdings include the Norwegian Golden Rule Mine and mill sites and the Spot Cash, equaling 39 acres.

Mineralization is a deposit hosted in slate and dolomite. The ore body is lenticular, strikes N12W and dips 55E at a thickness of 0.51 meters. Controls for ore emplacement includes the intersection of the vein with slate. The vein crops out in ampbhibolite schist near the western contact of schist with black slates with siliceous beds that show a characteristic fluting. The amphibolite schist is fine-grained and gray-green. A discontinuous barren or "bull" quartz vein marks the eastern boundary of intense mineralization and this vein marks a sharp angle with the productive Norwegian vein, which is 4 to 20 inches (10 to 50 cm) thick. A vein 12 foot in the footwall of the Norwegian vein, composed of quartz and ankerite was exposed at the 300 foot level, cutting across the west-dipping strata. A rich pocket was developed at the intersection of this vein and the black slate. Due to the reverse dip direction of the veins compared to the strata, several different rock types are encountered at depth. Production occurred from pockets rich in native gold and tellurides. Local alteration includes pyritization and ankeritization of the schist, and is intense for 50 feet in the hanging wall of the vein. Local rocks include undivided pre-Cenozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).

Workings include underground openings comprised of an inclined shaft 300 or mkore feet on the Norwegian vein, which dips 55E.
