Diorite

Age: Mesoproterozoic (1000 - 1600 Ma)

Description: Gray- to tan-weathering, greenish-gray to brownish-gray, medium- to coarse-grained, greasy-lustered, massive diorite containing andesine or oligoclase, clinopyroxene, hornblende, hypersthene, and sparse amounts of biotite and magnetite. Amphibolite layers common.

Comments: Rocks of Uncertain Origin (Middle Proterozoic)
