A small quartz mine in a phosphate pegmatite, which occurs in the contact zone between a mica granite and a garnet gneiss. It was abandoned in 1924 and the underground workings were subsequently backfilled.

Today, only the back wall of the quarry is preserved. Note that the locality is in a nature reserve and collecting is prohibited.
