Host Rock Unit: Muscatatuck Group, unconformably overlies Silurian and other units. Large barrier reef complexes make up a significant part of this formation.
Structure: North of the Cincinnati Arch, a stable high between the subsiding Illinois And Michigan Basins.
Host Rock: Limestone, Dolostone.
