Small deposit with mineralized 2 to 6 m thick impregnation zone in rhyolites and rhyolite tuffs of the Werfen series with variegated oxidation zone. Rare primary ores are tennantite, chalcopyrite, bornite and chalcocite. Classic locality of rare arsenates of copper, especially euchroite and tyrolite.
Mined in the 19th century; re-studied by exploration work in 1959-1960. Notable new finds (especially of euchroite) were made in 2009-2012 period at the outcrops of mineralized rocks, GPS data refers to this area.

Located around 4 km NE of Poniky (12 km E of Banská Bystrica).
