Abandoned quartz quarry in a silicified baryte vein, located 200 m WSW of Hohenstein cliff. Worked intermittently until 1989 by the Kreuzer and Böhringer Company of Lindenfels and by the Helmut Krämer company of Winterkasten. Now backfilled and landscaped.
