A single Cu-Mo patented claim with surface workings located in the center N½ sec. 36 & sec. 35, T23S, R15E, near the Golden Rose & Buena Vista Mines, in Providencia Canyon, 1/2 miles N of the King Mine, 10 miles NNE of Nogales, 5 miles W of Washington, and, 5 miles N of Mexico, on 1 square mile, on National Forest land.
Mineralization is somewhat sheared quartz monzonite impregnated with evenly disseminated small crystals, masses, and grains of chalcopyrite, pyrite, and trace amounts of molybdenite. Ore concentration is primary enrichment with minerals of magmatic origin. Alteration is minor. Deoth to bottom of the ore zone is 243.84 meters.
Local structures are E-W and NE-trending quartz veins and associated bands of crushed ineralized rock in fault fissures cutting diorite and quartz monzonite. Quartz monzonite is locally intruded by granite porphyry and underlain by diorite.
