A former small surface and underground Ag-Pb-Au-Cu mine located in the SE¼ sec. 3 and sec. 4, T24S, R20E, 2 miles NW of Montezuma Peak, o0n National Forest land. Located at the enf of a foot trail, beside a spring. Produced 1935-1937. Owned by Edwin A. Althaus.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in the Morita Formation siltstone and sandstone. Ore control was possibly associated with a NW-trending fault mapped by Hayes & Raup (1968).

Local structures include many NW-trending faults through the Huachuca Mountains.
